Nutrition and the science behind it is my profession. Education is my medium of communication. The community and the people are the meaning behind my motivation and dedication. Music is my inspiration and venue of expression. Colors ease my frustrations when words cannot meet my feelings and their inflections. The sound of the ocean quells any of my tension. Running paces the fluttering and unfiltered palpitations of my emotions. And when all else fails I spend time with my family or call a friend for some reflection.

Notice you’re still breathing

Everyone else is moving

That you’re very much awake

Then,

The story keeps revealing

Broken pieces getting smaller

Ties losing tether

Slowly nicely disappearing

And breaking,

Now not so much

As much as before,

Is what you needed.
